Dig next to open ground.
The top row starts open. A block can be dug when one of its four sides already touches open ground. The dark rim never digs.
Sod and timber take one swing. Shale and copper take two; the first swing leaves a pale mark and does not open the square. Timber and copper go into the count. Sod and shale only get out of the way.
The lamp is two timber and two copper. It is made on the swing that brings in the last piece. Swings left are the score. The best score stays in this browser.
- First cut — 17 swings. The copper on the right is close, the second one is not.
- Second cut — 15 swings. Timber is easy to over-dig.
- Third cut — 15 swings. The useful pieces sit one layer deeper.
There is no world address besides this page. Another cut swaps the layout. Same cut puts the blocks back.
